ALUMAN S.A., has been in the aluminium business since 1965. That was the year when we installed our first production line for collapsible tubes. In the years that followed, we developed our manufacturing capabilities by succesively installing production lines for aerosol cans and monoblock bottles.

In 1974, we began production of aluminium slugs, discs and strips in coils, mostly for our own needs. We quickly expanded our capacity in this area as well. This production unit nowadays exports more than 90% of its capacity to countries all over the world, while the remaining production is either self-consumed or consumed locally.

Today, we operate two fully modernised factories at Inofita Viotias, 50 kms north of Athens, one for the above mentioned aluminium products and the other for aluminium collapsible tubes, aluminium monoblock bottles and aluminium technical parts.

At ALUMAN we take pride in the fact that our combined efforts gave rise to a fully functional, keenly competitive manufacturing facility that satisfies not only European (EU) but also international standards, since both production facilities were awarded the ISO 9002 Quality Certificate since 1997. The dynamism of our export activity has been also recognized by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), which awarded ALUMAN S.A. with the National Export Award twice, in 1980 and in 1997.

Since 1996 ALUMAN is the major shareholder of EPALME S.A., a modern company producing aluminium billets of several alloys through the utilization of pure aluminiun ingots and recyclable scrap. The premises are located at the same area with those of ALUMAN.
